For our social-media Client, we deployed automatic database provisioning for MS SQL or MySQL, based on business-driven parameters. Clustering, backup setup, access provisioning is handled automatically, based on information provided by the end-user in a web UI.
For a large tech group, we built a custom VM provisioning software integrated with Amazon Web Services. From automated tenant creation, to definition of regions, virtual machine templates, up to maintaining the OS images. VMs are non-persistent as per Client’s requirements and thousands of those VMs are created and destroyed daily. End-users access machines from a warm-pool, always available and always configured with the newest software and patches.
